Homeschoolers get to go on really cool field trips like when we met a real astronaut! |
Ma (of Little House on the Prairie) would have her girls practice their penmanship by writing down verses that taught something. I liked the idea so much that I made worksheets using a writing practice font and probably the same verses found in the Little House series.
BillyBear4Kids.com and Jan Brett's websites have soooo many activities that I used with my children as well. You can easily spend a few hours finding fun (yes fun) learning activities for your homeschool. If you can teach it fun, then why teach it boring? The font I used was found at http://www.billybear4kids.com/fonts/fonts.htm. Or you can simply print off the alphabet pages at billybear or janbrett (hers are an art form of course)!
