- Outside pictures do well in mid-morning or mid-afternoon when shadows are the softest.
- The people you’re photographing should fill most of the view finder.
- Keep shots uncluttered, and watch for objects that might appear to be growing you of your subjects’ heads.
- Go for action shots.
- For toddlers and babies, use toys to divert their attention.
